How long it takes to process my application under Express Entry?

What are the basic documentation requirements?

The documents required vary depending upon the program you choose. As a skilled worker, choosing Federal Skilled Migration Program is a wise idea as it allows you to apply for Canada PR even without a prior job offer in hand. For FSWP, the basic documents which you must gather includes:
  • A valid passport or any other travel document
  • An IELTS or French language test report (you must score Minimum CLB 7)
  • An ECA (education credential assessment) report
  • Reference letters from past and present employers as a proof of Skilled work experience in an occupation under Canada skilled occupation list
  • A police clearance certificate
  • A medical examination certificate
  • Proof of funds to prove that you can support yours and your family's living expenses

What are my chances to obtain an ITA through Express Entry?

An applicant's chances of qualifying under FSWP depends on his/her Comprehensive Ranking System score. If a candidate scores the minimum CRS score or above as per the recent Express Entry draw, then he/she qualifies to obtain an ITA for Canada PR through Express Entry. But, it is impossible for any advisor or consultant to predict a CRS score.
